In the display this week…
My intention was to cut out some animal shapes and do some finger painting to give them some features! But on inspecting the craft box (which was rather sorrowful) the 3 year old pulled out a piece of cotton wool and said “look Mama a sheep!” I obviously then had to go with a child-led activity, as they usually are the best!
So we used green paper, cotton wool, some PVA glue, googly eyes and a black marker and made some sheep! The 5 yo old also invented a new breed of sheep called “Eye sheep”, but you may not be able to guess which one that is!
Warning: toddler likely to get cotton wool stuck to fingers and have a tantrum during this activity.
